mempalam & Belacan

Oh yessssss… mempalam or mangga mentah bercicah kan with belacan and kicap. Kicapnya mesti pedas berabis. Here is how I make my cicah belacan. First ambil the raw belacan (Shrimp Paste) sebesar ibu jari and then bakar the belacan at the stove sampai ia masak, remember just cucuk belacan atu pakai “garfu” and bakar like u r bakar-ing the marshmallow. Sudah masak, masukkan dalam bowl and mashed it, add sikit water. Then add sugar sikit. Next lots of lada padi and cut slice damit-damit, masukkan dalam the mashed belacan tadi and squeeze it. Then add your kicap manis. Simple kan…??

And nope, aku inda mengidam.. I just like it… nyaman bah toh..!!!
