Sungkai Buffet Review

27th September 2007 – Sungkai-ing with my foster family and friends, Bapa Hj Bakhir, Babu Hjh Arbaiah, Adek, Hj Subhi and Wife, Najib and Fiance (Dewi), Salleh and Fiance (Jijah Nyit nyit), Yai, Labi, Amal n her boyfriend, Pojeh, Me myself and Si Bibi. Kami ke sana pun cos babu lanja sempena hari babu bersara. The food was excellent but inda melawan di Rizqun Coffee House. The Price kan sama macam di Rizqun but banyak lagi makanan di Rizqun. At Orchid Garden, the appetizer nyaman berabis, kalah di Rizqun but for main course and dessert, definitely Rizqun is still the best. Lapas sungkai, we all had a photo shoot session at the photo plus studio, delima satu. Antah cana kah usul gambar atu, sal berulah wah kami semua sekali. 8/10

28th September 2007 – Sungkai-ing at Polo Club with my mom, sister and nieces. Seriously guys, its not worth it sungkai di Polo club, the price is 10 cents higher than di Rizqun and the food was soooo karit, i mean the main course just 5 macam saja and the appetizer inda banyak, 3 mcm saja. They have the noodle station, ambuyat station, hot plate, Kebab and murtabak stations (outside near the pool area). I mean why do u have to eat and pay B$19.80 for that kind of food saja. The desserts pun inda berapa banyak. I must say i dont like and love the food sana. The service pun so slow, lambat durang kan angkat the plates and glasses. Thought the name Polo club atu is like an expensive place and the food is soo nyaman but i was wrong, the food was uninviting. Baik plang makan di Rizqun tu, worth it lagi, banyak makanan kan di pilih. Like di Polo club, inda. Seriously, not worth it sungkai-ing at Polo club. 3/10

29th September 2007 – Sungkai-ing with my fellow jagongs at Millenium Restaurant, Beribi. The food was great, better than the POLO CLUB. But sadly they didn’t serve you a glass of water and a plate of kurma on the table. So far all restaurants yang ku pernah sungkai serves water and kurma for their guests but di Millenium inda, pisses one of the Jagongs tho hehehe.. I dont know whether durang lupa or andangnya style durang catu. I love the pasta so much, i mean i can taste the chunkie tomato sauce atu wah, nyaman brabis. I love the fried chicken, it is so nyaman but sudah ku ambil 2nd batch from Roseh, inda tia nyaman, masin. The fish was the worst taste ever, i didnt eat the fish plang but i tasted from Leena Bateks, it taste horrible, i mean karas and too ntah ah, indescribable. Appetizernya inda banyak choice but taste nice. I don’t eat beef or lamb but i ate it yesterday cos the lamb was so tempting especially with the yogurt mint sauce. The kebabs pun nyaman. Butter prawn pun nyaman jua, eh everything is nice except the broccoli and the fish. The desserts nyaman sikit saja as what Roseh said the bread and butter pudding with the kurma inda nyaman kan but actually it was nice and the Teh tarik with the pandan taste was excellent. 7/10

Eseh topic ku ah macam fast blog saja. I keep on forgetting wah kan memblog, sibuk saja and too tired kan memblog cos for the past few days before and after my birthday, sungkai di luar saja ku atu pun akhir balik. I’ve been sungkai-ing outside since the 20th till the 23rd September yang lalu. Suppose to be bulan Ramadan ani, like every year aku lose weight but this year, gaining weight tah pulang. Apa inda kan sungkai di luar saja, buffet.. buffet.. buffet.. argghh tempting wah, beside I only ate appetizer jua saja and i didnt eat the main course, atu pun kekanyang jua udah. Kain cara melayu sudah berhantar ke kedai jahit before Ramadan, adoii muat kah inda ni karang baju melayu ku for raya ani since I’m gaining weight ani.. arghh stress eh.. Ok Ok.. after the 30th of September, no more sungkai outside. Guysssss.. aku paksa reject kamu if kamu kan bawa sungkai luar after the 30th September, kan ke gym ku……… oh btw 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th ani i am fully booked. Please make an appointment or reservation with my secretary if kan booking aku, OKAY? hahahaha..

Last Sunday, me and my family went to Rizqun for breaking our fast there. Masuk dalam sana atu, everywhere i see is food.. all kind of delicious, yummy and slurpy foods where on the food warmer. Ada mussels, ada butter prawn, ada satay, ada creamed butter sea bass, nasi briyani with the whole lamb, murtabak, mee rebus, ambuyat dan macam-macam lagi, inda ku ingat cos i didnt get to taste it all. And all the appetizer was so delicious, i love the kerabu thingy, one of my favorite dishes. The desserts were excellent, erm inda plang ku ambil but aku ambil dari my nieces, inda ku termakan lagi bah, luan kenyang berabis. Totally rugi ni siapa lanja aku makan buffet salnya I don’t really eat that much, aku suka ambil sikit-sikit and taste saja. The cost for the buffet sungkai at Rizqun is B$19.50 nett for each person above 12 yrs old. The price is reasonable and worth it, except orang saja bawa aku nda worth it.. he he he..

Abis saja makan, then the waiter bawa cake and menyanyikan lagu happy birthday to me and my sis-in-law (the other one), aduh cake lagi. So yeah, siuk jua lah celebrating birthday balik-balik ani. Kalau tah buleh sampai tahun depan aku dapat cake birthday. Tapi this cake yang ku dapat at Rizqun was my least favorite one, its a pandan cake. Inda ku brapa suka. And yesterday, at home, kami celebrate lagi me and my sis-in-law’s birthday. Meriah eh, balik-balik dapat cake and meniup candles hehehe..

Happy Teachers Day

Brunei will be celebrating Teachers Day every year on the 23rd September just one day after my birthday. Senang jua orang ingat the date of my birthday tu, before teachers day. Erks lagi-lagi my buttday hehehe.. Aku kan post sal Teachers day wah nie. I was looking and searching for the teacher’s day theme this year but inda ku tahu and alum kena revealed. Maybe the celebration is after Puasa or during hari raya, i think. But there’s a mass prayer and bertahlil held at every masjid last 22nd September (my birthday lagi). Ok i got the info from Roseh, she said on the 27th October will be the celebration day for the teachers day but formally 23rd September is Teachers day.

Roseh told us that The Sheraton Hotel, i think at the tamu sungkai buffet restaurant bagi 30% discount to a teacher, any teachers ler in Brunei, on the occasion of the teachers day. So TEACHERS out there, go sungkai at Sheraton Hotel. Tapi kan how would they know that the person is really a teacher? do they ask for a Teacher’s ID.. ermm do the teachers has an ID? I might as well datang and pretend to be a teacher and everyone can always say they are a teacher, inda ja?

To all my friends yang jadi guru esp you Roseh, Nani, errr and yang lain and also to my previous teachers at SM SMJA, Cikgu Norashimah, Cikgu Malai Rabiah, Cikgu Daud, errr aduh banyak nama-nama cikgu yg ku lupa.. Happy Teachers day to you and of course my first teacher at home, my mummy or mother.. Happy Teachers day to you and without you, i wont be talking and knowing all kind of stuffs in this world. Love u momeh..
